I created a ruined artificial planet that is filled with debris in the space. From the outer space, there are two stars which look like exploding and some unknown light ray is being created and connected to a portal in opposite way. I tried to depict an imaginable context via these mysterious objects, even though the situation is not understood immediately. I also wanted to depict by far the largest scale VR experience as far as possible.
The video does not contain shadow effect due to the performance issue – what’s the best option? Still trying to figure out

- Putting texture to inner facade: modeling with Blender -> unwarp -> import
- lighting effect with flare, various shadow option
- simple C# script to enable random and slow rotation to every object
- particle exploration: long ray(attractor and emitter), portal
